STEM is...... Everywhere

STEM is the study of Science, Technology, Engineering, and Mathematics. Every occupation has started to implement factors of STEM in one way or another, whether it be increased use of technology or more teamwork workforce.

Additionally, educators break STEM down into seven standards of practice (or skill sets) for educating science, technology, engineering, and mathematics students:

Integrate content
Interpret and communicate information
Engage in inquiry
Engage in logical reasoning
Collaborate as a team

Kamen STEM

We are Tulsa's premiere non-profit for hands on STEM and entrepreneurship education for students in Pre-K through graduate school

Our goal is to stimulate Tulsa’s youth to become leaders in fields relating to Science, Technology, Engineering, and Mathematics. We work to provide STEM opportunities in a fun and relaxed environment that is inclusive and encourages the spirit of entrepreneurship.

At Kamen STEM we design our curriculum in a manner where it promotes the seven STEM standards. We promote teamwork for learning and problem solving while providing students with state of the art technology where students are able to engage and ask questions freely.

This program is filled with a variety of STEM related summer camps that all ages can enjoy. In these camps, students will have fun while learning about subjects that are very interesting. STEM summer camps are import as they teach science, technology, engineering, and mathematics to students in a fun and engaging way.

We offer week long summer camps that delve into subject fields such as robotics, coding, engineering, video games, and even hydroponics.

During our summer camps students will work in small groups of 2-4 discovering new STEM concepts in a way that will challenge them but keep them engaged. All our camps are designed in a way that by the end of the week student will apply what they learned over that camp to create and present a final project.
